Yes! We have journey assistance cards which are available for you to use if you need a bit more help when using the bus. They'll make it easier for you to let our bus drivers know what extra help you need.

You can apply for Journey Assistant Cards if you have:
- limited vision or hearing
- difficulty in communicating
- special educational needs
of if:
- English is not your first language
- you need extra time or help to find our seat

Disability Bus Pass FAQs
Where can I use my Disability Bus Pass?
In England, you can use your Disability Bus Pass from 09:30 to 23:00 Monday to Friday and at any time on Saturdays, Sundays, and bank holidays.
In Scotland, you can use your Disability Bus Pass on all local bus and coach services anywhere in Scotland.
In Wales, you can use your Disability Bus Pass on all local bus services anywhere in Wales. Additionally, you can use it on some journeys across the border into England, including TrawsCymru T14 and service 23.
How do I renew my Disability Bus Pass?
You can apply to renew your Disability Bus Pass by contacting your local council in Scotland, England, and Wales. If you live in Scotland, you will no longer get a six-week reminder to renew your Disability Bus Pass; you can apply for a renewal up to five weeks before your current card expires.
Once you apply to renew your bus pass, your existing bus pass will be cancelled.
You’ll have to pay the bus fare until you get your new bus pass.
You’ll get a replacement bus pass sent to you by post. If you do not get your replacement card within 2 weeks, you can contact your local council for an update.
What do I do if my card is damaged?
If your card is damaged and does not work on our ticket machine, our bus driver will exchange your Disability Bus Pass for a 'seven day pass' paper ticket. You then need to apply for a new bus pass through your local council. A 'seven day pass' paper ticket will not allow your companion to travel for free.
Once you apply to replace a damaged bus pass, your existing bus pass will be cancelled.

What do I do if I lose my Disability Bus Pass?
If you misplace your Disability Bus Pass, you can apply for a replacement card through your local council. There is no fee for this in Scotland and Wales; some local councils in England will charge an admin fee.
Once you apply to replace your lost bus pass, your existing bus pass will be cancelled.
You’ll have to pay the bus fare until you get your new bus pass.

Who is entitled to a free bus pass in the UK?
Anyone who is aged 5 or over and has an eligible disability which is long-term or expected to last at least 12 months could be eligible for a Disability Bus Pass from their local council.
