In 2019 we invested £3.5 million in 15 brand new double deckers which increases the capacity by 45%. The low floor entry means the route is more accessible for those who have mobility issues, travel with prams or using wheelchairs. For those sitting on the upper deck, you can get a new point of view and take in the panoramic views of the
beautiful Moray coast from an angle never before seen!

Get dropped of right at the door of Union Square in Aberdeen for food, drinks, shops and movies or maybe you fancy booking a wee holiday. Get picked up straight at the door if your service 35 journey is just beginning.
On your 35 route, we stop at ARI providing a vital connection for those with hospital appointments and visiting family and friends. Our low floor double deckers make it easy for those with mobility issues or wheelchair users and those with prams to board and ride onboard.
For whisky lovers Oldmeldrum is the stop for you, Glen Garioch Distillery was founded in 1797 making it one of the oldest distilleries in Scotland. Glen Garioch Distillery have a range of tours available and you can even pick up a bottle from the visitor centre.
Next stop, Turriff! See if you can spot the famous "Turra Coo" as we cruise around the town. Stop off and visit the shop that has everything and more, Celebrations of Turriff. Plan your dates carefully and you may get to experience the famous Turriff Show, the largest 2 day agricultural show in Scotland!
Take a trip to the Macduff Aquarium and explore the variety of marine wildlife available, with dive shows and touch pools it's easy to lose track of time here!
Then stop off in Banff and visit Duff House an early Georgian mansion designed for the Earl of Fife, where temporary exhibitions of visiting artists and societies are usually held. Whilst you’re in Banff don’t forget to visit the Spotty Bag Shop, they have everything you could ever want from a shop and more!
Portsoy is famous for the Portsoy Ice Cream shop! They produce award-winning, homemade, artisan ice-cream - you'll not be disappointed! The only question is, Which is best Portsoy or Cullen ice cream? We love both!
Venturing further along the beautiful Moray coast we reach Cullen. Cullen is perfect for a scenic walk by the iconic Cullen Burn viaduct leading to Findlater Castle. The castle has been consumed by the surrounding landscape – be very careful if you’re exploring! Or take it easy with some Cullen Skink in the square followed by a tasty treat at the Ice Cream shop!
Stop for a wonder in Portknockie, take in the breathtaking sights of Bow Fiddle Rock. An aptly named rock formation resembling a fiddle bow. Besides its imposing structure is also a great place to spot some sea birds and is very popular amongst photographers. Tweet us your best shots at @StagecoachBBird, we'd love to see them!
Find out about the once thriving fishing and shipbuilding town of Buckie at the Buckie and District Fishing Heritage Centre. Explore the chapel that is dedicated to fishermen who lost their lives at sea. The chapel is lit up by beautiful, stained glass windows. Buckie is home to some of Scotland's best marine life so you may spot some bottlenose dolphins, seals, ducks and otters.
If you fancy yourself as a foodie take a trip to Fochabers, home of Baxters for generations. Visit their Highland Village where their pancakes are the talk of the town - sounds good to us! Travel back in time and visit their original grocery store.
For historical buffs why not travel to Elgin to see ‘Lantern of the North’ more commonly known as Elgin Cathedral a historic ruin dating back to the 13th Century. Take a walk on Lady Hill up to the Duke of Gordon's Monument which was built in honour of George Gordon - a Scottish nobleman, soldier and poltician - while you're there take in the beautiful panoramic view of Elgin an beyond!

A group ticket is ideal for 3 adults; or 2 adults and up to 2 children; or 1 adult and up to 3 children.

Not a problem with the Grasshopper ticket! The grasshopper ticket is our multi-operator ticket option which lets you travel in Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire, just hop on or hop off any bus.

If you're 16 - 20, the best ticket for you...
...is a Under 21 discount card! We have teamed up with Aberdeenshire Council and Bain’s Coaches to make it easier and more economical for those under the age of 21 to travel around Aberdeenshire by introducing the Under 21 discount card. If you’re between the ages of 16 and 20 and a frequent user of the 35 you can get 50% discount on the 4 week megarider. Travel more for less!
If you're a student...
...we also have Unirider Bus Passes. 4 or 13 week tickets are available for you to use throughout the term, pay once and travel as many times as you like. We've even narrowed bus passes into different zones so you can pay only for the zone you travel within. Student Dayrider tickets are also available for those who don't travel as often; or are travelling outwith the zones on their Unirider; or if you don't like the commitment of long term bus passes.
Service 35 is the perfect route to get to Moray College, North East Scotland College or University of Aberdeen’s School of Medicine and Dentistry.

For those travelling on the 35 regularly you may benefit from getting a weekly megarider ticket which enables you to travel as many times within the week the ticket is active. This is available for the whole 35 route but there is also megarider tickets that only apply to zones if you only travel within a specific zone. See our zone map here. Monthly tickets are also available for travelling within zones.
