We're still running buses through the Christmas holidays. Below is a summary of service levels between Wednesday 24 December 2025 and Friday 2 January 2026.

Christmas Eve 
Wednesday 24 December

Banbury - Monday to Friday timetable with an early finish, no journeys will depart from their original starting location after 1800, except for the following:

X4 - Will run a full Wednesday timetable.

B10 - Will run a Wednesday timetable with the last journey at 1700 from Banbury and 1715 from Banbury Gateway.

200 - Will run a full Wednesday timetable

500 - The 1710 from Banbury will run as far as Brackley Tesco only

500 - The 1830 Banbury will run as far as Middleton Cheney only

B9 - The 1735 Banbury Gateway (1800 from Banbury town centre) will run B9 – The 1736 Hardwick (1805 from Banbury town centre) will run

B9 - The 1815 Banbury Gateway and the 1811 Hardwick will run as far as Banbury town centre

S4 - The 1815 Banbury will run as far as Deddington only

 

Oxford & Witney - Saturday timetable with early finish - no journeys will depart from their original starting location after 1800, except for the following services:

1 - 1804 from Oxford will run; 1808 from Sandy Lane will terminate at The Blackbird

2 - 1816 from Andersons Close will terminate at Evans Court

2A - 1806 and 1826 from Evans Court will terminate at Andersons Close; 1800 from Oxford will run;

8 - 1815 from Edgecombe Road will terminate at Bayswater Road Church 10 – 1820, 1850, 1920, and 1950 from JR Hospital will run; 1820 and 1850 from Oxford will run;

26 - 1800 and 1900 service will run;

29 - 1805 from Upper Arncott will run;

600 - 1755 and 1825 from Parkway will run; 1755 from Thornhill P&R will terminate at Redbridge P&R; 1825 and 1855 from Thornihill P&R will run

800 - 1810 and 1840 from Parkway will run; 1844 from Oxford Airport will run

H5 - 1825 and 1925 from Bicester will run; 1813, 1913 and 2020 from JR Hospital will run;

E1 - The 1820 from Oxford will run, continuing to Witney.

S1 – 1726, 1746, 1806, 1826, and 1846 from Carterton will terminate in Witney; 1805 from Frideswide Square will run

S2 – This will run a Sunday timetable only

S2X - This will run to a normal weekday timetable

S3 - The 1805 from Charlbury will run S5 – The 1820 from Oxford will run

S5 - The 1820 from Oxford will run

S7 - 1810 from Witney will terminate at Woodstock

S9 - The 1800 from Wantage will not run; 1810 and 1835 from Oxford will run

S2 - Sunday timetable will operate

S2X - Normal weekday timetable will operate

S5 - 0050 from Oxford will not run; 2322, 2352, 0022, and 0052 will not run

S7 - 0030 from Oxford will not run; 2317 from Witney will terminate in Woodstock; 0012 from Witney will not run

S9 - 0050 from Oxford will not run; 2340 and 0040 from Wantage will not run

E1 - 0025 from Osney Island will terminate at Witney; 0125 from Osney Island will not run; 0044 from Eynsham will not run

Need to get home after your New Year’s Eve celebrations? We’ve got you. We’ll be running a Saturday timetable, with all evening and late-night services operating as normal. This will ensure we’ll get you home after the celebrations.

A special timetable will be running on a number of key routes, some services will not run.

Saturday timetables will run on all routes. excluding the S2 & S2X.
