Frequently Asked Questions
What tickets can I use?
You can use any of our tickets on the 24/7 services, such as DayRider, NightRider, MegaRider and multi operator tickets. Our standard single fares apply on these services too, and are capped at £3 due to the Government's Single Fare cap scheme.
Can I use my concessionary pass on the buses?
If you're planning to travel late at night or in the early morning, please refer to the T&Cs of your local issuing authority as there are restrictions on when you can use your pass.
What time does my ticket expire?
DayRider and NightRider tickets expire at 4am the day after purchase, so you can use your tickets throughout the evening and night, into the early morning. You can check the T&Cs of your ticket if you're unsure, or speak to a member of our customers services team.
Do you have any other 24/7 services in Portsmouth?
No, our only 24/7 services in the Portsmouth area are the 22 and 23 - however many of our services run late into the night and in the early morning so it's worth checking your local service! We also have 24/7 services in Chichester, Bognor, Worthing, Brighton and Guildford - find out more on our 'Promos and Offers' page.
Do the 22 and 23 buses connect?
The late night and early morning buses connect on services 22 and 23, meaning you won't need to change buses if you're travelling between Southsea, Portsmouth & North End to Leigh Park. You can view which services run through on the 22 and 23 timetables here.
Working in partnership with Portsmouth City Council and the Governments Bus Service Improvement Plan (BSIP), we're proud to provide vital transport links with 24/7 services 22 and 23.
