Below is a summary of our bus times over the festive period.

Christmas Eve

Wednesday 24 December

Bristol, Bath & South Gloucestershire - Normal weekday service.

 

Gloucestershire - Saturday timetable with early finish - no journeys will depart from their original starting location after 1800, except for:

1 - 1800 from Gloucester will run; 1800 from Matson will run;

2 - 1800 from Gloucester will run; 1817 from Abbeydale will run;

8 - 1745 from Gloucester Business Park will terminate at Station Road at 1815

9 - 1801 from Tuffley will run;

10 - 1725, 1745, and 1805 from Cheltenham will terminate at Station Road; 1740, 1759, and 1816 from Tuffley will terminate at Station Road

22 - 1805 from Gloucester will run;

23 - 1835 from Gloucester will run;

32 - 1820 from Newent will run;

33 - 17.57 from Hereford will terminate at Ross-on-Wye rather than continuing to Gloucester;

97 - 1800 from Cheltenham will run

M5 - Normal timetable

 

Stroud - Saturday timetable with early finish - no journeys will depart from their original starting location after 1800, except for:

67 - 1749 from Bussage will terminate at Merrywalks; 1800 from Merrywalks to Cashes Green will not run.

620 - 1745 from Bath will terminate at Chipping Sodbury

 

Cheltenham - Saturday timetable with early finish - no journeys will depart from their original starting location after 1800, except for:

41 - 1813 from Northway will run as far as Long Eights

94X - The 1800 from Cheltenham and 1800 from Gloucester will run
95 -1810 from Gloucester will run; however the last journey from Cheltenham will be 17.10
100 - Normal Saturday timetable will operate up 19.05 from Cheltenham Promenade and the last bus from Arle Court will be 18.45.
A - 1804 from Prestbury will run, terminating at High Street at 1826; 1745 from Arle Court will terminate in Clarence Street at 1809

B - 1800 from Charlton Kings to Town Centre will tun

C - 1808 from Springbank will terminate at Oldbury Road at 1820

D - 1816 from Bishops Cleeve will run

E - 1802 from Bishops Cleeve will run, terminating at Rail Station at 1844; 1755 from Rail Station will not run

F - 1748 from Town Centre will terminate at Reddings Park

 

Swindon & Wiltshire - Saturday timetable with early finish - no journeys will depart from their original starting location after 1800, except for:

4 - 1756 and 1822 from St Andrew’s Ridge will terminate at Orbital Shopping Park; 1800 from Swindon will run;

6- Special timetable. Click here

7 - 1800 from Freshbrook will not run; 1753 from Highworth will terminate at Fleming Way.

49 - 17.37 from Trowbridge to Swindon will run as normal.

51 - 17.10 from Swindon will terminate at Cirencester and will not continue to Cheltenham.

55 - 1750 from Swindon will finish at Calne Town Hall

80 - Normal weekday timetable.

S6 - 17.45 from Oxford will run to Swindon. The 17.35 from Swindon will terminate at Faringdon and will not continue to Oxford.

Wednesday 31 December 

Need to get home after your New Year’s Eve celebrations? We’ve got you. We’ll be running a Saturday timetable, with all evening and late-night services operating as normal. This will ensure we’ll get you home after the celebrations.

Cheltenham - Normal Saturday timetable except:

N94 - On New Year’s Eve evening we will be running late services past midnight until 3.00am from Cheltenham to Gloucester and until 3.00am from Gloucester to Cheltenham

NX94 - On New Year’s Eve evening we will be running late services past midnight until 3.35am from Cheltenham to Gloucester and until 3.35am from Gloucester to Cheltenham.

 

Stroud - Normal Saturday timetable

 

Swindon & Wiltshire - Normal Saturday timetable will run for all services, except for the following services:

FAQS

Do buses run on Christmas Day?

There are no local bus services on Christmas Day. 

Do buses run on Boxing Day?

There will be no services running in Stroud or Bristol, Bath & South Gloucestershire, however a special timetable will be running on select few routes in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire and Swindon & Wiltshire. These are listed above. 

 

 

Do buses run on New Year's Eve?

There will be a Saturday service on most routes. With the exception of the 94X, N94X, 80 & 6 services.

Do buses run on New Year's Day?

There will be no services in Bristol, Bath & South Gloucestershire or Stroud. In Gloucestershire, Cheltenham and Swindon & Wiltshire we will be running special timetables on a few selected routes which are listed above.
