Explore Oxfordshire and Gloucestershire this summer on the Faringdon Tourist Bus.

Our Faringdon Tourist Bus runs in partnership with Faringdon Town Council.

The Tourist Bus operates on Saturdays running from Faringdon’s Market Place at 10am. Destinations include Radcot > Kelmscott > Lechlade > Buscot Weir before the bus returns to Faringdon Market Place.

The tour connects you to ‘great places’ in the area and will travel through two different counties. The service will operate throughout the summer, ending on 27th September 2025.

Ticket Prices

Tickets can be purchased on board from the driver at the following prices:

Adult - £5.00

Child & Concessions - £2.50

West Gold tickets are also accepted on this service.

Visit a number of tranquil villages with a lot of history behind them, you'll be able to enjoy a spot of lunch from the range of cafes and pubs or enjoy a scenic walk around Buscot Park. If you're looking for something more adventurous then Lechlade would be a great place to hop off and hire a kayak or a boat for the day or Kelmscott Manor is perfect for a wander around the gardens and grounds and grab a spot of afternoon tea. There's great fun for all in the local area and the stops on the tourist bus make it all that easier for people to travel to them on Saturdays by bus.

Our S6 service is perfect for getting you to and from Faringdon Market Place from Swindon and Oxford.

This will allow for easy connections to hop onto our tourist bus from Faringdon.

Our 76/77 service is great for transporting you to and from Lechlade from Burford and Cirencester. 

This will allow for easy connections to hop onto our tourist bus from Lechlade.

Can I use any other tickets on this service?

West Gold tickets are valid on this service. However, Concessionary cards and MyBus Oxfordshire ticket's aren't valid on this service.

 

Which locations does the tourist bus travel through?

Radcot, Kelmscott, Lechlade, Fernham and Buscot Weir. 

 

How can I buy a bus ticket?

Tickets can be bought from the driver on the day, with cash or contactless. West Gold tickets that can also be used on this service are available on bus and on the Stagecoach Bus app.
