Five Valleys Walk Shuttle buses

Shuttle buses are available from each of the checkpoints along the walk ; Cricket club , Nailsworth , Minchinhampton , Brimscombe , Lypiatt , Slad , Standish wood & Pitchcombe. These buses run hourly from our Stroud depot from 11am until 5pm, out to the checkpoints and back to the depot. You can then catch another bus from the depot to any of the sites around the course again.

Routes of shuttle buses

Cricket Club Shuttle
Travel between Stroud Depot and Stroud Cricket Club (Walk Base), with a stop at Dudbridge Sainsbury’s along the way. This service will be operated by the heritage bus throughout the day.

Nailsworth & Cricket Club Shuttle
This route runs from Stroud Depot to Nailsworth, then continues to Stroud Cricket Club before returning to the depot via Dudbridge Sainsbury’s.

Slad Shuttle
Running from Stroud Depot to Slad via Merrywalks Bus Station, this shuttle stops near the checkpoint at the War Memorial. The bus then continues to Bulls Cross to turn around before making its return journey to Stroud.

Randwick & Pitchcombe Shuttle
This scenic route travels from Stroud Depot to Standish Woods via Cashes Green and Randwick. The return journey takes in Pitchcombe and Merrywalks Bus Station before arriving back at the depot.

Minchinhampton & Nailsworth Shuttle
Starting at Stroud Depot, this service travels to Minchinhampton before continuing to Nailsworth. It then returns to Stroud depot via the A46.

Lypiatt, Eastcombe & Brimscombe Shuttle
This route runs from Stroud Depot to Lypiatt, stopping close to the checkpoint at Giffords Circus. The journey then continues through Bisley to Eastcombe, before descending into Brimscombe and returning to Stroud depot via London Road.

No, all shuttle buses will be free for participants of the walk.
