We're updating our network to provide improved reliability on buses in Gloucestershire

We've completed an extensive review to plan a new bus network that we can deliver consistently, ensuring that our services run as reliably as possible. 

Most of our services won't change, but we have had to make some difficult decisions to match our resources to the current level of demand. 

There will be changes to our services in the Forest of Dean from Sunday 20th November, following by further changes in Cheltenham from 27th November 2022. 

We've provided a summary of the changes below to allow customers as much time as possible to arrange alternative travel. Further information will be available in the coming weeks, including timetables for the updated services. 

Changes to the Forest of Dean network from 20th November 2022:

• We'll no longer be operating the following contracted routes: Service 25, 27, 710, 748, 755, 761. 

• We'll also no longer operate contracted journeys on the Service 24 between Cinderford and Chepstow. The route of the Service 24 will be adjusted to provide connections between Gloucester, Cinderford and Coleford, replacing journeys currently operating on the Service 25.

• All of the above changes were communicated to Gloucestershire County Council in August 2022 to allow them the required time to re-tender their contracted routes

When will further information become available?

We are currently working on the new bus timetables and expect to share these with customers by the end of October. Please check back on this webpage for more information.

Will there be a replacement service for any withdrawn routes?

We gave notice to Gloucestershire County Council in August 2022 to allow them the required time to re-tender their contracted routes. We understand they will be looking to do this where possible.

When will the changes be taking place?

Our network in the Forest of Dean will be changing on the 20th November and changing in Cheltenham on the 27th November.
