Swindons Brilliant Bus Driver 2026

To celebrate Catch the Bus Month, we’ve teamed up with Swindon Borough Council and Swindon Bus Company to find Swindon’s Brilliant Bus Drivers for 2026.

Whether it’s offering a friendly welcome, helping a passenger in need, supporting vulnerable customers or simply delivering outstanding customer service, we’d love to hear how a driver has made a difference to your journey or your local community.

Catch the Bus Month is a great opportunity to give the bus a go, whether you’re travelling to the shops, commuting to work or visiting friends and family.

We’re incredibly proud of the role our drivers play every day in keeping communities across Swindon and the surrounding area moving. This campaign is a chance to recognise and thank the brilliant drivers who are at the heart of everything we do.

Everyone who submits a nomination can also choose to enter a free prize draw for the chance to win one month’s free bus travel through the Stagecoach app.

So, whether you catch the bus every day or only occasionally, if a driver has made a positive difference to your day or your local community, we’d love to hear about them.

To help us identify the driver, please provide:

• The time and date of travel
• The route number and direction of travel
• The driver’s name (if known) or a description of them
• Details of why you’re nominating them

Nominations are open until midnight on 30 September 2026.

At the end of September, one driver from each bus company will be recognised as one of Swindon’s Brilliant Bus Drivers 2026.
