£1.50 single fare for 11-18 year olds with a b_line card
11-18 year olds living in Derbyshire can travel on buses in the region for just £1.50 with a b_line or b_line2 card.
The £1.50 fare is available on most buses* in the county including direct travel into Yorkshire and Nottinghamshire. Derbyshire County Council are funding this reduced fare through government-backed Bus Service Improvement Plan funding.
*The £1.50 fare is not available on special services including the Peak Sightseer.
What is a b_line card?
The b_line is a card for young people under 19 in Derbyshire to get discounts on travel, it can also be used as a library card.
How do I get a b_line card?
If you’re aged from 11 to 15 and live in Derbyshire you can apply for a free b_line card here or if you're aged 16-18* you can apply for a free b_line2 card here.

Valid on all Stagecoach buses across South Yorkshire, Pontefract, Wakefield, Bawtry, Oldcotes, Blyth, Ranskill, Chesterfield, Killamarsh and as far as Mastin Moor, Hillstown, Heath, Holmewood, Tibshelf, Morton, Mickley, Clay Cross, Kelstedge and Holymoorside.

Child DayRider Gold ticket - 1 day - £5
This ticket is available to all children aged 5-15 years old and it is valid for travel on all Stagecoach buses in Derbyshire, South and West Yorkshire, Nottinghamshire and Gainsborough.
Chesterfield College Silver and Gold MegaRider Passes
Students of Chesterfield College may be eligible for Silver MegaRider and Gold MegaRider passes. These are only available for students at Chesterfield College and are issued by the college, each term. These passes are not sold on bus.
