From Saturday 25th and Sunday 26th July 2026, some buses in South Yorkshire are changing

Some buses across Barnsley and Sheffield will have changes to their timetable in order to improve punctuality.

Barnsley—effective from Saturday 25th July

11 Barnsley | Barnsley

There are minor timetable changes to improve punctuality. On Monday to Friday, the 14:57 from Barnsley Interchange will now leave at 15:00. 

12 Barnsley | Barnsley

Monday to Friday journeys will now run every 30 minutes. 

Barnsley to Stairfoot (Services 219/219a/226/X19)

In order to better account for traffic conditions along this route, we will be revising the journey from Barnsley Interchange to Stairfoot roundabout to improve efficiency and journey times. 

27/27a/27b Barnsley | Wombwell

There are minor timetable changes to improve punctuality.

32 Barnsley | Cudworth

There are minor timetable changes to improve punctuality.

93/95/95A Barnsley | Kexborough

There are minor timetable changes to improve punctuality.

Sheffield—effective from Sunday 26th July

1 High Green | Batemoor

This service will now run every 20 minutes, Monday to Saturday daytimes. There are changes to times to improve punctuality.

2/2A Sheffield | Barnsley

There are minor timetable changes to improve punctuality.

M35 Warren | Parson Cross

This new service will begin running from 26th July, from Warren to Parson Cross via Chapeltown and Ecclesfield. 

57 Sheffield | Stocksbridge

There are minor timetable changes to improve punctuality.

On Saturdays, some journeys will now operate as service 57a:

o The 06:00 from Sheffield will depart at 06:10 as 57a. The 17:35 journey from Sheffield will operate as 57a.

o The 06:07 and 18:45 journeys from Stocksbridge will operate as a service 57a.
