Catch our X24 service from Pontypool or Blaenavon for a quick easy journey to Cwmbran boating lake. There's so much to see and do, you can stroll around the lake and feed the geese and ducks; have an ice cream in the café, picnic in the park or have fun in the children's play area!

Travel from Cwmbran to Newport

It’ s short less than 15 minute trip from Cwmbran to Newport on the X24. There lots to see and do from the Friars Walk centre with it’s shops and restaurants. You can also take a stroll along Newport Riverfront to unwind and have a nice cup of coffee!

Travel from Cwmbran to Greenmeadow

If you're heading into Cwmbran which not use your dayrider and jump on service 6 to Greenmeadow Community Farm. It's just a short walk from the Parc Celyn stop. The Greenmeadow Community Farm is all about having fun and you can meet a wide range of pedigree and rare breed traditional farm animals as well as some more unusual residents!

Love the outdoors? You can travel further afield to Blackwood on our 21 service. You’ll also love a walk around Cwmcarn Forest Drive, if you change onto our 151 service at Newbridge.  

Cwmbran bus station

Cwmbran bus station is located at the hear of the Cwmbran Shoppping Centre in Gwent Square. There are ample connections to other bus services, and you can buy smart cards on the bus to make your journey easier. Local shops are right next door, as are public toilets.

Blaenavon World Heritage Site

Did you know that Blaenavon is one of UNESCO  protected world heritage sites? The Blaenavon Industrial Landscape is a testament to the human endeavour of miners and ironworkers of the past. The main attractions include Blaenavon Ironworks and the World Heritage Centre that are just a short walk from the bus stops on our X24 route!

Cardiff Castle

Cardiff must see attraction is Cardiff Castle is one of Wales’ leading heritage attractions.  It's located at the heart of the capital, within beautiful parklands, the Castle has nearly 2,000 years of history just waiting to be uncovered on a day out from Pontypool or Cwmbran.

In the castle you can discover the Black Tower Tales, an exciting new experience re-telling the story of Llywelyn Bren, a forgotten hero of medieval Welsh history.

Abergavenny Market 

Abergavenny Market entices people from many mile on a Tuesday to pick up a bargain. Don't forget there also Abergavenny Theatre and the world famous Food Festival in September. You can also stay on the bus for a day out further afield and visit Hereford with it's amazing Cathedral and the would famous Mappa Mundi.

Pontypool Park

Pontypool Park is just stones throw from the town centre and bus stops and is the perfect palce to relax on a nice sunny day! It's locally known as the People’s Park, covering some 64 hectares with several historical features - including Italian Gardens, Ice Houses and Shell Grotto - which have been recently been restored
