We’ve put together some ideas for a day out on one of our services.

Dundee

• V&A Museum

The V&A is the first design museum in Scotland. You can explore the museum at your own pace with a range of self-guided audio tours. The X7 can get you into Dundee bus station, then you'll have either a 10 minute walk to the V&A, or you can jump on a local service to get there, with the railway station bus stop just a 2 minute walk away. 

• Dundee Science Centre

At the Dundee Science Centre, experience an award-winning visitor attraction with show-stopping exhibits and hands-on activities for all ages. The Dundee Science Centre is a 15 minute walk away. After getting the X7 to Dundee bus station, you can jump on a local service to the Overgate bus stop, and you'll have a 5 minute walk to the Science Centre. 

Arbroath

• The Webster Memorial Theatre

Whether it’s a comedian or a tribute act, there are shows for everyone at the Webster Memorial Theatre. 

• Arbroath Abbey

At the Arbroath Abbey, you can explore the history and ruins of a medieval abbey. 

The X7 goes into Arbroath bus station, and both the Memorial Theatre and the Abbey are just an 8 minute walk away. 

Montrose

• Montrose Air Station Museum

Head to Montrose Air Station Museum and learn about the history of the first operational military air station. The X7 stop on Waldron Road, and then you'll have a short walk to the Air Station. 

• Montrose Museum

Montrose Museum tells the story of Montrose and the people of Montrose. The X7 stops on the High Street in Montrose, and you'll just have an 8 minute walk to the Museum. 

Aberdeen

• Aberdeen Maritime Museum

At the Aberdeen Maritime Museum, experience the interactive and multi-media displays on Aberdeen’s maritime heritage and North Sea oil and gas industry. The X7 goes into Aberdeen bus station, and the Maritime Museum is only a 5 minute walk away from the bus station. 

• P&J Live Arena

The home of all the big events in Aberdeen. The P&J Live Arena hosts some of the biggest names and events. The X7 will get you to Aberdeen bus station, and then you can jump on the 727 to get you to the P&J Live Arena.
