Getting to the Cairngorms National Park has never been easier with the Aviemore Adventurer (Service 30). The  Adventurer runs up to every hour from Aviemore rail station to the Cairngorms, and is a specially branded coach which makes it easy to spot. There is plenty of space onboard for your luggage, skis, snowboards, bikes and whatever else you want to take with you. No need to try and squeeze it into your car or take the chance of not getting a parking space, plus you can now travel for only £2! 

The Adventurer connects you with the panoramic viewpoints of Loch Morlich and beyond as well as links to many paths to walk or cycle on, you could even jump on the Cairngorm mountain tour, the adventurer will get you and your equipment there with ease.

Can I take my bike/skis/snowboard on the bus?

Yes you can. The Aviemore Adventurer (service 30) has a specially fitted so luggage compartment, you can store your bike, skis or snowboard while you travel.

 

Is the Aviemore Adventurer (service 30) accessible for wheelchair users?

All of our vehicles are DDA compliant. There is one wheelchair passenger space on board the Aviemore Adventurer on the lower deck behind the driver, access is provided via a ramp. You can read more information on accessing our services with a wheelchair, a disabled buggy or an approved mobility scooter in our conditions of carriage.

 

Can I bring a buggy or pram on board the Aviemore Adventurer (service 30)?

Yes, provided the buggy or pram can be folded and stored in the luggage compartment.

Its free to take your bike/skis/snowboard on the Aviemore Adventurer.

 

Do I need to book ahead for the Aviemore Adventurer?

No - the service is operated on a first come, first served basis. Tickets for travel can be bought on the bus or on the Stagecoach Bus App, however seats cannot be reserved so plan ahead and leave extra time for your journey if you wish to travel at peak times.
