Blenheim Palace Festival

Have you got tickets to the fantastic line-up of summer concerts at Blenheim Palace Festival?

Let us get you there...

Getting there by bus

From Oxford, you can catch the S3 bus which runs up to every 30 minutes Monday to Saturday and on Sundays. Get S3 timetable.

Alternatively, you can catch the S7 bus which runs up to every 30 minutes Monday to Sunday. Get S7 timetable.

The S3 departs from Oxford Railway Station stop R5 and Magdalen Street C4. The S7 calls at Magdalen Street and Oxford Parkway for those travelling by train.

From West Oxfordshire, you can also catch the S7 from Witney.

Blenheim Palace Festival Shuttle bus ticket prices:

£13 adult return ticket to and from Blenheim Palace grounds

£35 group return ticket to and from Blenheim Palace grounds (for up to 5 people)

For travel from London
, take the Oxford Tube, our 24 hour coach service between London & Oxford. The coach picks up from Victoria, Notting Hill Gate, Marble Arch, Shepherd’s Bush and Hillingdon and drops you into central Oxford at Gloucester Green bus station. From here, Magdalen St is just a short walk to catch the S3 or S7 service to Blenheim Palace.

Ask the driver for a Tube DayRider ticket and you get your return journey on the S3 or S7 for free! Simply buy in cash or by contactless from the driver.

Getting back by bus

*Special* Blenheim Palace Festival Shuttle

We'll be operating shuttle buses direct from the Palace grounds after the concert, saving you a walk back to the bus stop on Oxford Road.

Buses will depart once full.

On your journey to Blenheim, please ask the driver for a shuttle return if you wish to catch the shuttle bus home. Alternatively, shuttle singles can be purchased on your return.

Festival Shuttle Bus – the easiest way home
A dedicated return shuttle service operates directly from within the Palace grounds after each concert, taking you back to key locations including Oxford city centre and surrounding stops.

✅ Departs right after the concert from inside the venue
✅ Direct routes to Oxford and key stops
✅ No waiting for regular service buses
✅ Guaranteed seat when you book in advance

Regular service bus

Important: Getting home after the concert
After the event, demand for buses is very high.
While the S3 and S7 will continue to operate, these are regular public services and evening capacity is limited, meaning you may not be able to board your preferred bus.
👉 For a guaranteed journey back to Oxford, we strongly recommend using the dedicated shuttle bus.

After the event, catch the S3 bus from the Blenheim Palace Gates. The stop is at the top of the drive, just walk up to the entrance and cross the road to reach the Oxford-bound bus stop. We’d say allow 15 minutes to walk from the bottom of the drive.

The last S3 buses depart at 00:03 (Thursday, Friday, Saturday) and 23:37 (Sundays) back to Oxford and drop you on George Street. You can then interchange for onward travel and to the Oxford Tube – Gloucester Green bus station is just a short walk away.

Oxford Tube coaches to London run 24 hours a day so there’s no such thing as a last bus.
