 Your second step is to decide how long you need your ticket to last. Our 18 & under range is available in day, 7 day and 4 week durations.

Travelling to London?

Student fares are available across a range of Oxford Tube tickets for 16 to 26 year olds. Students of any age must show a valid NUS, ISIC or officially university photo ID.

How can I buy my student ticket/pass?

Day tickets can be purchased on the app or from the driver.

7 day tickets can be purchased online, on the app or from the driver. 7 day tickets purchased online or from the driver will be delivered as a smartcard.

4 week tickets can be purchased online or on the app. 

Flexi tickets are available on the app only.

StudentRider products

You will need to provide your student ID number, course name and year of study when purchasing StudentRider products online. Tickets bought on the app can be purchased like any other ticket, however you may be asked to show your student ID when boarding. 

How much does a student ticket/pass cost?

Ticket prices vary depending on ticket type and duration. Prices for each ticket variation are shown above.

Can I cancel my student bus pass?

Student bus passes can be cancelled. Refunds are calculated, not be how much time is left, but by subtracting the cost of travel undertaken from the original cost of the pass. The cost of travel itself is calculated by adding together the cost of the shorter duration passes that would have been purchased had the original pass not been purchased.  Refunds are arranged by our customers services team.
