Torbay is home to 22 miles of gorgeous coastline. Enjoy the sandy beaches and watersports including diving, canoeing and ringo rides. Explore the limestone caves of the Torbay GeoPark or take a fishing boat or evening cruise across the bay to Brixham before catching a Stagecoach bus back to your accommodation.

Jump on a Stagecoach Hop 122 bus and feel on top of the world as you visit the famous Babbacombe Model Village in Torquay. This tiny world features England through the ages in miniature form complete with tiny villages and gardens. Other attractions along the route include Paignton Zoo, the sports and swimming complex of Torbay Leisure Centre and the always popular Splashdown Quaywest Waterpark. Spend the evening at one of the five theatres situated within Torbay including the Princess Theatre in Torquay, with the number 12 and 22 Stagecoach buses stopping right outside.

There is lots to do all year round. During the summer marvel at Torbay’s famous royal regatta rowing races and explore the Torbay steam fair just outside Brixham during the first weekend in August. During the winter visit a Santa's grotto like no other within the caves of Torquay and make scary treats at the Occombe Farm cookery school at Halloween. To celebrate the regional heritage of the author, board a Stagecoach 122 and explore the sites where the author grew up and some of the locations which inspired her chilling novels. Why not stop for a meal at the Imperial Hotel in Torquay, with a cliff top terrace inspired the creation of the Majestic Hotel in Peril at End House and The Body in the Library.

From fine dining seafood restaurants to bistro pubs and ice cream parlours, Torbay has plenty to offer when you are feeling peckish. If an evening dinner is what you are after, look no further than The Elephant, a Michelin star restaurant offering formal dining in the Elephant Room or a relaxed dining experience within the brasserie. The Elephant is just a short walk from Torquay Harbour bus stops. Head to the picturesque village of Cockington to enjoy a traditional Devon cream tea set in the grounds of a rose cottage, or take the number 17 Stagecoach bus from Brixham town centre to the Guardhouse Cafe on the cliff top where you can enjoy a cream tea with a sea view.
