There are also three types of East Sussex DayRider available for different age groups. Each ticket is available as a mobile ticket on the Stagecoach Bus App, or you can buy them on the bus from your driver. For longer stays, try our week-long MegaRider tickets.

Student travel comes with its perks, too. You can buy a Hastings or South East StudentRider ticket and travel for less throughout the year; all you’ll need is a valid student ID. If you’re of State Pension age or have a disability, you may be eligible for free bus travel - you can ask your local council for a concessionary pass.

Hastings bus station

While there is no bus station in Hastings, many buses leave from outside the railway station. This area is equipped with public toilets, Wi-Fi and refreshments.

At peak times, Hastings railway station can become very crowded. It’s also located slightly outside of the main centre so, for connections into town, it’s better to travel by bus. Enjoy unlimited journeys and savings - the more you travel, the more you save.
