Tickets for children

Children under 5

Up to four children under 5 years old can travel for free when accompanied by a responsible, fare-paying passenger.

These children shouldn’t:

• take a seat that paying passengers might need
• stay in a buggy in an unsuitable place on the bus

5–19 year olds

Single tickets

Children aged 5 to 19 years old, can usually travel for a discounted, flat single fare within Hull and Cottingham.

Young Persons DayRider

You can buy a Young Persons Day Out ticket for just £5 across the region.

Young Persons MegaRider

If you’re a regular bus user, MegaRider tickets are a perfect way to enjoy unlimited travel and save. Buy your 7 day MegaRider on our app, online or onboard from your driver. You can also buy 28 day tickets online and add them to your Smartcard.

You may be asked to show ID to prove your age.

KAT Card

Get unlimited travel all week across Hull and East Riding on both Stagecoach buses and East Yorkshire buses for just £13.50 a week.

Tickets for students

University Student 10 Trip ticket

Available to students attending University of Hull on production of a valid student pass. The Student 10 Trip can be obtained from the driver and offers 10 single trips which can be used anytime within 3 months on Stagecoach buses anywhere within the Greater Hull Area.

Tickets for adults

Passengers aged 20 and above pay the full adult fare. We have a wide range of great value tickets available.

Singles tickets

Single tickets are perfect if you only want to make the occasional journey.

We have a flat fare for a single journey in Hull and Cottingham and we also have a discounted short hop ticket available.

Return tickets are not available in Hull, Cottingham or Wawne, use DayRider.

DayRider tickets

A DayRider ticket gives you 1 day’s unlimited travel in Hull, Cottingham and Wawne.

You can share DayRider tickets with your family and friends when you're not using them.

MegaRider tickets

You can use your weekly bus ticket for unlimited travel in your chosen area. You can choose which service you’d like to use and how long you want your ticket to last.

You also have the option of paying for your ticket by a monthly recurring payment, so it never expires.

Hull card

You can use your Hull card for unlimited travel all week in and around Hull on both Stagecoach and East Yorkshire buses.

You can now also buy a Hull Day bus ticket, giving the same access as a Hull Card but just for the day of purchase.

A Day Out ticket gives you 1 day’s unlimited travel on any of our buses in the East Midlands. They are only valid for the day you buy them.

Group Day Out tickets are also available and offer unlimited travel for up to 5 people.

Tickets for Groups

Group DayRider

Group DayRider tickets gives you 1 day’s unlimited travel on any of our bus services in Hull and East Riding for up to 5 people.

They are only valid on the day you buy them and can be purchased at any time.

Group Day Out tickets

Group Day out tickets gives you 1 day's unlimited travel on any of our bus services in the East Midlands for up to 5 people.

They are only valid on the day you buy them and can be purchased at any time.

Concessionary bus pass holders (seniors and disabled)

If you’re of retirement age or have a certain disability, you can apply for a concessionary bus pass from your local council. It'll let you travel for free on our buses.

You can normally travel after 09:30 until 23:00 on week days and all day at weekends and on bank holidays. Some local councils have different rules on when you can use your pass.

If you need assistance from our driver, you can apply for a journey assistance card.

Jobseekers

We offer half price single and return tickets to jobseekers. To qualify you must have a valid Jobcentre Plus Travel Discount card.

Animals

Dogs can travel for free at all times. 

Other small, well-behaved animals may travel for free with the driver’s permission. Animals may not sit on the seats. If there are more than two animals on a bus, the driver may ask for you and your animal to wait for the next bus.

Penalty charges

You must have a valid ticket or pass for your journey. If you don't show your ticket or pass when we ask, we may issue a penalty charge of £15.
