The service operates between Preston and Southport every 30 minutes, and between Preston and Liverpool hourly Monday to Saturday. Sunday's the service operates hourly. The journey from Preston to Southport takes just under an hour, whilst the full journey from Preston to Liverpool takes over just 2 hours.
