How it works 

All SmartZone 7 day tickets for Newcastle, North Tyneside, South Tyneside, Sunderland, Teesside, Tees Valley or Hartlepool  can be bought on the bus from your driver. These tickets can be loaded onto a StagecoachSmart card, a Go North East Key Card or an Arriva Connect card.

Tickets bought on the bus will be loaded onto your smart card immediately. You'll then have unlimited travel on Stagecoach, Go North East buses and Arriva buses in your chosen zone.

If you buy your ticket on the Go North East or Arriva website, your first journey must be on a bus from that company.
