This 900 year old building is a beautiful example of gothic architecture and stands proud in the city centre. Explore the architecture and history of the cathedral whilst enjoying the traditional evensong, sung by Exeter’s choir at 17.30 most weekdays. During the winter the busy Christmas market lights up the Cathedral green and during the summer the green is popular with groups picnicking and soaking up the sun. There are a number of Stagecoach bus stops right outside cathedral green and along the High Street making it easy to reach this historic landmark.

Prepare to don a hard hat as you are guided through the extensive network of underground passages, originally home to pipes designed to bring fresh water to the city. Your guide will share stories of history, ghosts and plague! With three bus stops, surrounding the entrance to the underground passages, there’s no excuse not to visit! Buses, including the 5A-C, regularly stop outside the passages from across the city and will be right outside to take you home after your adventure.
