How to catch the bus to school:
Preparation is the starting point for a smooth journey to and from school. You’ll need to start by planning your journey.
Make sure you familiarise yourself with your new bus journey; know the stops and route the bus takes ahead of time. Why not ask a family member to drive the bus route to your new school in advance so you feel confident you know where to get on and off before term starts!
Planning your journey:
You can plan your journey on the app or website, the journey planner also details the number of stops from the pick-up to your destination and the approximate timings of the journey.
- Set Your home location
- Head to Journey planning and add your home location in the first box
- Add the stop name or postcode of the location you're travelling to in the second box
- Add the time of departure
- Press the green plan your journey button to get your bus times
