Skegness X12

Our X12 service to Skegness will be back from Saturday 23rd July 2022! 

The service offers return trips direct from Peterborough every Saturday, Sunday and Bank Holiday Monday from Saturday 23rd July 2022 until Bank Holiday Monday 29th August 2022.

Buses leave bays 9 and 10 at Queensgate Bus Station in Peterborough at 09:45 and return from Skegness at 17:30. So, you'll have plenty of time to enjoy a day at the beach, treat yourself to Fish & Chips and have a ride on our open-top Seasider buses!

You can take the whole family for less than an off-peak return adult train fare!*

Adults: £14

Youth (under 19's and students with ID) and Concessions: £9

Group (4 people, up to 2 adults) £35

Purchase your ticket on bus from your driver using contactless, card or cash payment.

 

Latest updates: On Saturday 30th July and 6th August, our friends at Fowler's Travel will be providing vehicles to assist our operation of the X12 service. These will have the X12 route number prominently displayed on them with a sign stating 'on hire to Stagecoach East.' Passengers can purchase tickets on bus as normal and there are no changes to route, timetable or ticket structure. 

 

Travelling with a concessions card? Collect 15 regular, free paper bus tickets on your journeys across the Stagecoach East network and exchange these for a discounted trip to the beach from 13th-29th August!

When boarding and using a concessionary card on a Stagecoach East bus within Cambridgeshire, Bedfordshire and Peterborough for free travel, you will be given a paper ticket. Keep hold of your tickets and once you have collected 15, you can exchange them on the X12 bus for a return trip for only £3 on weekends between 13th and 29th August 2022!

Terms & Conditions: A £3 concession ticket is only valid to those who present 15 paper concession bus tickets from journeys across the Stagecoach East network, to their X12 driver on weekends between 13th and 29th August 2022 and these must be presented alongside a valid concessions card. This offer may be redeemed once per passenger on the date of the X12 journey and tickets are non-transferrable. Offer is subject to availability.

Natureland Seal Sanctuary 

 

Not far from the beach you can find Natureland Seal Sanctuary. The sanctuary are known for rescuing and rehabilitating orphaned or injured seals. Visitors can get to know the rescue and recovery process as well as explore several other enclosures from Tropical fish, butterflies and penguins. There is also a Pets corner for the little ones to enjoy being up close with animals.
