Paignton Zoo is a fantastic family day out , hosting over 2,500 animals across it’s 80 acres. You can get up close to some of the world’s most extraordinary animal who live in specially designed habitats – from the wetlands and tropical forest’s to the savannah. There are several play areas within the zoo and you can explore the area via the Jungle Express train. Connections to the Zoo are available via route 22 or GOLD at Paignton bus station. Western Lady Ferry “Western Lady” have been operating a ferry service between Brixham and Torquay for over 75 years. Babbacombe Cliff Railway has shuttled hundreds of thousands of people between Oddicombe Beach and Babbacombe Downs since it’s opening in 1926. Oddicombe beach features some of the UK’s most breathtaking scenery and is a great way to spend a chilled afternoon. Teignmouth is home to two beaches, Teignmouth Town Beach is long and sandy whilst the Teignmouth River Beach has a more traditional feel, and is perfect for fishing.
