The exciting news is that our Electric Network here in East Scotland continues to grow. We've recently added electric vehicles to our JET747 fleet, our Service 73 in Arbroath, and Service 99 between St Andrews and Dundee to join our electric vehicles in Perth, Dunfermline, and Kirkcaldy.

Plan your journeyPerth was the first to receive electric vehicles back in 2021, making the city center services fully electric. The single-deck electric buses on the city centre routes are near-silent and help cut down pollution and noise in the city, making taking the bus a more enjoyable experience for everyone living in Perth and for people visiting the fair city.

Single-deck electric buses arrived on Dunfermline city routes in 2023. The Dunfermline Electric Network buses run from morning to evening on a single charge, going around key locations around the city centre, and to the likes of the Fife Leisure Park, Duloch Park, and Amazon.

In January 2025, zero-emission buses arrived in Kirkcaldy. Brand new Enviro 100EVs are now on the Kirkcaldy town network and charged overnight at our Glenrothes depot. The buses feature on the 34 and 35 services, stopping at places such as Kirkcaldy bus station and Fife Central Retail Park.

In July 2025, 16 brand-new Enviro 400 EVs double-deck buses arrived at our Arbroath depot running on Service 73. The buses run from Arbroath to Dundee given customers an upgraded travel experience. There will also be six new single-deck electric vehicles arriving in Arbroath which will be on the Tayway service 72 soon.

Service 99 is going electric soon! Service 99 connects Dundee with St Andrews with services running every 10 minutes and late into the night. All vehicles used on service 99 will soon be fully electric.
